Cafe Royal is a gathering place in the Henry County, Indiana community. We opened our doors on Thursday morning, February 5, 2009. We are open Monday--Saturday with the exception of holidays (because we believe in giving our employees time to relax with their families and friends during those times).

We use a purist approach to the coffee and espresso served at Cafe Royal. The extra effort produces a smoother taste and allows the subtlety of the coffee flavors to come through better than with automated espresso machines. The Café Royal selects micro-roasted fair-trade coffee and espresso beans for producing their drinks. This also preserves the subtle flavors that are absent from over roasted brews. This does produce some variability in the flavor dependent on the season the beans are harvested in.

Café Royal offers more than artisan beverages. A variety of pastries, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert items are available daily. They even have Bs & Gs! (Biscuits and Gravy).

The business moved in 2017 to the current location at 1451 S Memorial Drive in New Castle. Café Royal's regular hours are 6AM - 6:30PM Monday--Friday and 7AM - 3PM Saturday. The café is closed on Sundays. For more information or to schedule an event call us at (765) 388-2028
